Michael Phillips
Mr. Michael is a children's music artist, early childhood specialist, and a visual artist. He leads Cyprus Classical Academy's Art & Music program for early elementary students with energy, enthusiasm, creativity, and fun! An artist in his own right, Mr. Michael is the art instructor for all Cyprus students. Mr. Michael's career has revolved around working with and sharing his music with children. He has performed in the United States as a children's music artist and has recorded a children's music CD. He lived and worked as a first grade teacher and a music teacher at St. Stephens International School and as a first grade teacher at Kasetsart University Laboratory School in Thailand. He also worked as the Deputy Head of Early Childhood Education for Modern Montessori International in Singapore. He returned to the US in 2012. He began teaching at Cyprus in the 2018-2019 school year where he is an art and music specialist at Cyprus Classical Academy, and also works with Cyprus Classical Academy's Pre-K² students each day.

Studio Policy
Payment Policies:
A non-refundable deposit is due upon enrollment for each class. After May 30, families are responsible for full payment for classes in which they have enrolled. Families may pay in full prior to the first day of camp, or in three equal monthly payments due in June, July, and August. There is no reduction in tuition for absences, illness, holidays, vacation time, or teacher absense. Teachers will make every effort to make up classes due to teacher absence. If a child is incorrectly placed in an academic level, a parent meeting will be requested to discuss moving the child to a class commensurate with their abilities. Students are expected to follow Cyprus Academy’s Code of Conduct, and may be removed from a class if they are in violation with no refund.
