Feng Lao shi will work with students to strengthen and progress their Chinese language skills including speaking, reading, and writing. This class will meet Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for 30 minutes, giving students the repetition they need to progress.
Feng Lao shi will work with students to strengthen and progress their Chinese language skills including speaking, reading, and writing. This class will meet Tuesday & Thursday for 30 minutes, giving students the repetition they need to progress. After enrollment, you will be contacted to set up a time for tutoring.
Yanli Feng
Feng Laoshi Graduated from Sichuan University in China where she studied pharmacy for 5 years. She moved to the US in 2013. While in college, she worked in a nearby elementary school as a volunteer teaching English and math. After coming to the United States, she taught in a Chinese immersion school for some time. Ms. Feng believes in nurturing children as well as teaching them to create the best atmosphere for development and learning. Feng Laoshi has been teaching Mandarin Chinese at Cyprus since the 2016-2017 school year with great success. Students have been placed as high as Chinese 4 in high school after studying with her through their years at Cyprus, and they have passed assessments as high as the internationally standardized HSK 3. In the Cyprus Classical Academy online summer program, Feng laoshi teaches Chinese Cooking, Chinese language classes for young children and tutors students privately.

Studio Policy
Payment Policies:
A non-refundable deposit is due upon enrollment for each class. After May 30, families are responsible for full payment for classes in which they have enrolled. Families may pay in full prior to the first day of camp, or in three equal monthly payments due in June, July, and August. There is no reduction in tuition for absences, illness, holidays, vacation time, or teacher absense. Teachers will make every effort to make up classes due to teacher absence. If a child is incorrectly placed in an academic level, a parent meeting will be requested to discuss moving the child to a class commensurate with their abilities. Students are expected to follow Cyprus Academy’s Code of Conduct, and may be removed from a class if they are in violation with no refund.
